Hi friends! How’s your week? I’ve been busy on some new design projects and wanted to share some recent favorites with you. I love designing blogs because I feel like I have a good understanding of how to help bloggers and what their needs are. I also just love the chance to renovate something so personal and meaningful to other people! I do love my branding and website projects too, though — I’m excited to share some fun ones in the coming weeks! For now, here are some recent blog designs I’ve done. Enjoy!
Mix & Match Fashion
Tara was a sweetheart to work with! She’s a Special Education teacher by day, and a savvy fashion blogger by night. She has gorgeous style and wanted something more professional to reflect her popular blog. I love the color palette we went for, with soft whites and greys mixed with a bright aqua. Go check it out!
Kimberly came to me looking for a professional renovation of her growing blog. She writes about lifestyle and wellness topics and even just led a sold-out wellness conference. She kicks butt! I dig the classy color palette we went for with coral and tan and I love her logo with a block font and hand-drawn script. Visit her site!
Nohelani is a brand new blog focusing on health, creativity, and Erica’s lifestyle. She showed me a few ideas and then let me run with my own vision. When I showed her the first proof, she said it was exactly what she was looking for — I was thrilled to know it fit her so well! I adore the handmade and artsy splashes to her blog — to me, it feels calming, creative, and a little beachy (Nohelani is Hawaiian).
I’ve gotten to know Dayna through blogging over the past few months, so I was really excited when she contacted me to redesign her site. She’s such a special person with tons of love to give and an addicting writing style — seriously you will love her blog. She wanted something that felt warm and cozy; I imagined the feeling you get when sitting with people you love under twinkling stars, so I tried to channel that look and feel into her design. Dayna didn’t really want any changes to the initial design and I was so happy to know that it reflects who she is. Go check it out!
That’s all for today! I’d love to know what you think. 🙂 Have a great one, everybody!
p.s. I was recently featured on A Prettier Web’s list of “Incredible Women WordPress Designers.” So grateful! Check it out (featured under my former name, Bumble + Buzz Design).
