Hello lovers! HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! Whether you’ve got big plans tonight or you’re looking forward to slobber kisses from your dog, I hope you have a great GREAT Valentine’s Day! Soak up the love this weekend. 🙂
I used to do a weekly series (waaaay back when) called “Links I Love,” where I’d share some of my favorite recent articles and links from around the web. Since I feel like I’ve stumbled on so many awesome things lately, I thought it would be a nice change of pace to share ’em with you this weekend. Check them out below and say hi to a couple of my sponsors while you’re at it. 🙂 Have a marvelous weekend, everyone!!
Completely agree with this “one question you should never have to ask while on a date.”
What do you think it takes to raise happy kids? Here’s what science says. (These are also great tips for just being happy people!).
“No One Brings Dinner When Your Daughter Is An Addict.” Such a wonderful article about the way our society ignores mental illness.
What does English sound like to non-English speakers? This. Interesting!
A short film that shows men what it’s like to be women in certain ways. Really enjoyed this thought-provoking piece.
As much as I love the recent media talk and campaigns about loving curvy bodies, this piece completely spoke to how I’ve always felt: not all real women have curves.
So in love with everything on this site.
One of my close friends did a TEDx talk about travel and it kicks ass.
I wish it was cold enough in California to need anything like this pretty coat.

I pretty much love everything in this eclectic Etsy shop.
Alix of Alix Hamilton
Alix is a unique little lady. She works as a freelance musician, specifically, she’s a classical violist (how many of those do you know?!). But you can learn all about her right here. She lives in Australia, but much of her blog documents her obsession with travel (and also baking!). Want to know how the obsession started? Check out this post. In case you need to feed your wanderlust, I suggest this one with the gorgeous Italian countryside or this one of the world-famous Stonehenge. Like I mentioned, Alix is also a baker and combines her two passions in this de-licious looking article! Go pay Alix a visit for yummy recipes and travel tidbits!
Jenn of Near and Far Montana
Jenn is a globe-trotter putting down roots in Montana. She has plenty of fun posts, with everything from this one about her trip to Chile to this one about stepping out of your comfort zone. She’s also got some really cool home improvement posts, like this one and also this one, thus making her way too hardcore for Pinterest. Jenn also shares lots of real posts about her life. I appreciated this one about finding balance and totally loved this one about how instead of setting resolutions, she declares each year a “Year of Jenn.” Go say hi to this sweet blogger — she’s got a little bit of everything! 🙂
